Insurance vs a multi-ancillary shelf: builder checklist
If your agent can already call an insurance quote, the next product question is whether insurance stays a silo—or becomes the first tool on a multi-ancillary shelf.
Enter your work email to get the one-page checklist (PDF).
What the checklist helps you decide
- Is cover the only ancillary the agent can attach, or can it also search a lounge, an eSIM, and fast track in-session?
- Is the supplier named on the response, or only a blended price?
- What happens on failed calls, replays, and calls on your own contract?
- Which jobs can the agent call today, and which are still only described?
- Do budgets, customer tags, and audit logs span categories—or restart per vendor SDK?
Why multi-ancillary beats “insurance + links”
Deep links convert poorly inside chat. Separate aggregator keys multiply incident response. A shelf with one auth model lets the agent package “ready for the layover” without leaving the thread.

Questions
- Who is this checklist for?
- Product and engineering teams at AI travel agents, OTAs, and travel tech firms that already sell or quote travel insurance and are deciding whether other ancillaries belong in the same agent session.
- Is the PDF access-controlled?
- The email gate collects an address and opens a thank-you page with the download link. In v1 the asset URL is still publicly reachable—treat it as lead capture, not DRM.
- Does this replace insurance advice?
- No. It is an integration and product-scope checklist, not coverage recommendations.
Email the file
Leave a work address. The thank-you page has the download. Mail is not sent until an ESP is connected.
PUBLIC_LEAD_GATE_URL is empty, so submitting only opens the thank-you page. Set it and rebuild when an ESP is chosen.
